Decisive Operations December Update!

There have been some massive updates since the last, update.

In addition to minor tweaks and clarifications to the core rules, we have added Area of Operations Ukraine with a map and scenario focused on the fighting in Kherson. Initially, we aimed to showcase “future” war zones to avoid any of the oddities of wargaming ongoing conflicts; however, we had an opportunity for Decisive Operations to be used at the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), and we were not going to pass that up.

The link above is where you can find the rules for the Core game and all the recent updates for Area of Operations Thailand and Ukraine.

You can also find a vassal download and a link to the Tabletop Simulator version of the game. The game currently exists on those two digital platforms and as a print-and-play. We are exploring options to sell physical copies of the game, more to follow.

If you are interested in the creation of the game, Decisive Operations was highlighted at Connections Online.

Updates might be a little slow as I work on a new podcast with some of my colleagues, the link is below if you are interested.

The New Year will feature a how to play series on the YT channel, probably as a multipart series to keep the videos short.

I’ll do the annual year-in-review post here in a week, and other than that, I have been working on Decisive Operations and playing Flesh and Blood. Hopefully, I’ll have some content of FaB on the YT channel, the last year has been less than stellar on content production.

Happy Gaming!
